Meditation & Breathwork

The very simple and varied practices of Breathwork and Meditation wake us up to being more fully present in our daily life. With consistent attention we learn to make more conscious the unconscious habits, parts and aspects of ourselves, and open to how choice works in our lives. Through breathwork experiences we can potentially access and release old emotional and thought patterns stored in our body memory, opening to greater energy and joy in our life.  

For those wishing to live an examined life, or to increase breath or mind awareness, I offer these basic tools in many of my classes and workshops. Either can also be the foundation of a private one on one class if desired. 


     

BREATH

Breath, the mindful breath,
the rhythm, out and in,
the wave that washes 
through our days, creating
space for stillness, sorrow,
joy, or exultation. Full,
then empty, ebb and flow,
breath accompanies each
step into the unknown.
In the breath, the soul
Finds an opportunity to
Speak. Images or intuition,
Poetry or wordless wisdom
Come and go—no effort but
To breathe and listen.
