My exploration into the study of Tantra began 8 years ago. After taking many varied workshops exploring body, mind, energy and spiritual connection, with many of the worlds greatest Tantra teachers, I am now available to support others on their own journey of self-discovery and awareness. This work is a natural melding with the world of Yoga, which I have been a student in, and teacher of, for 35 years.
Tantra began in India around 5000B.C. It is an ancient Eastern science of spiritual enlightenment. At its core “Tantra means expansion and weaving, in the sense of unifying the many and often contradictory aspects of the self into one harmonious whole. It is a way to discover the infinite potential of your body, the power of your mind, and the beauty of your soul” (Margot Anand) Tantra is about our union with the Divine, and the integration of the masculine and feminine energies within us. Tantra is grounded in the practices and experiences that open us to the emotional and feeling states of our body and mind, as we are reminded to return and choose to come back to our natural birth state of aliveness, presence and ecstasy.
This path is a gateway to a deeply examined life. We are invited to be grounded in our truth, whatever that looks like for each of us, and then we choose to live that awareness and realness in our lives. Find your pleasure, stay connected to those you love, trust that life unfolds perfectly as it will as you manifest your intentions. Let go of the struggles and habits that separate and create dis-function for you. Understand where feelings land physically for you in your body and understand their “roots” (usually from childhood beliefs) then see the possibility of letting go of the stories of a lifetime and choose to live in the present moment, embodying love and living it fully through your actions, and acceptance of others in the world. Tantra is a path of love.
